Course Overview

This Training module covers all aspects related to Cargo Operational equipment, Instrumentation and its controls. It provides awareness related to the hazards of oil cargo during loading and discharging. The candidates are also trained for the lineup of loading and discharging and Crude Oil Washing.

Necessary precautions to be taken during the voyage are also covered in this module.

Course Overview

This Training module provides specialized training to Officers and any person responsible for loading, discharging, care in transit or handling of oil cargo in bulk.

The course covers aspects such as physical and chemical properties of cargo, sources of an ignition, cargo calculation, ship to shore liaison, emergency cargo operations COW, tank washing, Gas detection, instrumentation, inert gas operations and cargo pumps.

Course Details

This Training module provides an introduction to principals, equipments and design. It provides a framework for generalized crude oil washing procedures, safety checklists, regulatory enforcement procedures and maintenance of plant and equipment.

Course Details

This Training module covers the fundamentals and calculations of dry docking. It deals with safety concerns and progresses through all phases of dry docking such as preparation, docking, lay period and un-docking.
